Maison d’Autrefois (House of Yesteryear) is a charming house that, until recently, formed part of the historic Mairie et Ecole Primaire complex in St. Vite. The building dates from around 1890 and formerly housed, amongst other things, St. Vite’s ‘Centre Social’. At the end of 2023, the current Maison d’Autrefois was separated from the older part and renovated by the new owners in the ‘Bourgeois Chique’ style.
The house sleeps six (two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds), and features a lounge/dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small back garden. It is therefore suitable for up to six people. Wi-Fi is, of course, available.
Sun-seekers can make the most of the adjoining garden, which offers both shade and plenty of sunshine. Unfortunately, there is no swimming pool, but with the River Lot less than 100 metres away, that’s hardly necessary. Within a two-minute walk, there are various access points to the River Lot, including a separate boat ramp.
Its location, a mere 50 metres from the large city park (which offers plenty of recreational opportunities for young and old alike), makes Maison d’Autrefois the ideal place to stay for an unforgettable holiday.
Maison d’Autrefois is not suitable for pets. Unfortunately, we do not have cots or stair gates available.
